MASSACRE: European Tour Canceled
January 1, 2012Terry Butler (DEATH, MASSACRE, SIX FEET UNDER, DENIAL FIEND, OBITUARY) and Frederick "Rick Rozz" DeLillo (MANTAS, DEATH, MASSACRE, M INC.) have canceled their previously announced European tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of MASSACRE's classic "From Beyond" album. Dubbed "Army Of Darkness", the trek was slated to take place in January/February 2012 and was supposed to feature additional performances from MACABRE and MASTER.
Commented MASSACRE lawyer Eric Greif: "The band was looking forward to the trip but got spooked when no contracts or deposits materialized, despite repeated requests to the agent. They'll instead head over later for some summer festivals that don't conflict with Terry's OBITUARY commitments."
